newave was born as an idea years ago, when Tiffany bought home a petroleum based balm.
Hugh and Tiffany felt they could make a better lip-balm using high quality ingredients.
After extensive work on their product formulation, the duo decided that their product could reach a wider market. However, they faced a major obstacle as the main packaging option was plastic tubes; something they didn't want with their commitment to being better for the environment.
It took years for technology to advance to finally find the tubes they use now, which contain no petroleum, no plastic and no toxins, yet look and work exactly like the main lip-balm tubes sold worldwide.
Their search for an answer to bring a better product to market in an effort to Save the Planet is the reason they created newave.
High quality products in packaging containing no plastic is just the start for the newave journey.

Tiffany Perrottet
Tiffany Co-Founded newave with her Dad and was the catalyst for the global search for packaging not made from fossil based plastic.
On her insistence, newave was never going to go to market unless a replacement for plastic could be found.
Tiffany worked with her Dad to create newave and find a non-petroleum solution.
School takes up a lot of time and the extra work can be demanding, however Tiffany always finds time for newave; making better products to help Save the Planet.
